As of 2024, Hakone Zendo is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We collect donations to cover zendo supplies, space costs, and digital tools for community engagement. In the future, we plan to fund maintenance, repairs, and improvements to the upper house where we practice zazen.
Corporate Matching
As a non-profit, we qualify for corporate matching programs. Many companies will match your donation dollar for dollar, and some may even match two dollars for every dollar you give. This is a great way to increase the impact of your donation.
